Davis® Foundations for Reading Program
The Davis® Foundations for Reading Program is a supportive, one-to-one program designed for young learners who are beginning their reading journey or who are showing early signs of reading difficulty. This program helps children build strong foundational skills for reading in a calm, confidence-building way.
Rather than pushing early reading before a child is ready, the Davis® approach focuses on clarity, orientation, and readiness, creating a solid foundation for future success.
What the Program Supports
Children develop skills to:
Build early reading readiness
Strengthen focus and attention during learning
Improve letter and symbol recognition
Develop left-to-right tracking and visual stability
Reduce frustration and anxiety around early reading

Develop a clear understanding of symbols before formal reading begins
This gentle, developmentally appropriate approach helps children feel capable and successful from the start.
